Yasmin Ahmad first job aren't relate to what she was doing which is art. She started as a trainee banker for two weeks then changed as a marketing representative at IBM. The only work that she did by that time which is related to art was moonlighting as a blues singer and pianist by night.

Leo Burnett

She began her career in the creative world around the year 1993 where she works as a copywriter at Ogilvy & Mather. Then, she moved to the one of the world well known advertising agency, Leo Burnett Worldwide as joint creative director, eventually rising to executive creative director at the firm's Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia branch.
