After I've analyzed all of the question, I've decided to have further explanation on the question number 5 which is:
Trace the career of an icon in the industry related to your major. Analyse the significant phases, work, and personal qualities that propelled this individual to his or her acclaimed status. Did any institutions contribute to his success or failures as well?
For this topic, I won't go for the icon from the other countries since in our country which is Malaysia, we already have plenty of famous and talented icon in the multimedia industry here. The icon that I've chose and going to talk about is the late Yasmin Ahmad. She is the most famous film director, writer and also a scriptwriter in the local multimedia industry, Malaysia.
Yasmin Ahmad is famous for all of her movie and also for their humour, heart and love that crosses cross-cultural barriers, meaningful television commercial especially for all of the religious festival in Malaysia (Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Deepavali & Tahun Baru Cina) in particular her ads for Petronas, the national oil and gas company. She was also a creative director at Leo Burnett agency Kuala Lumpur. Most of her works have been publish and won multiple awards not just from Malaysia but also internationally. Her death has been a great loss to all of the Malaysian especially to the creative industry. It has bring a emotional impact for us during the year of her death.
